Love Boat Ice Cream

Love Boat Ice Cream

Is it just me, or when it’s cold out you CRAVE ice cream SO much more! I mean anytime is a good time for ice cream, but I swear, I die for the stuff whenever the temps drop below 60 here.

Shockingly I have never been to Love Boat Ice Cream until now. I have lived in this town for my entire 24 years of life and have only heard amazing things about this cute ice cream shop but never actually tried it. With Love Boat being right by Fort Myers and Sanibel beach, it makes for a perfect pit stop on your way to the sand, way out, or a treat after watching the sunset.

Paige(my sister) and I were dying to try it, so we stopped by and quickly realized the hype was all true. The parking gets little crazy there. However it looked like they were getting ready to move just right down the road, where they will have more space for parking and new seating areas. This cute little old school building is everything you imagine for a classic ice cream stop. Its pink walls and over 100 different flavors instantly brings a smile to your face.

I decided to go with a mix of birthday cake batter, and cookie dough. Paige went with a Brownie Batter! The cookie dough had GIANT chunks of cookie dough and I wish I would have been able to finish it all. The brownie batter was a little rich but still delicious.

Whether you are traveling to Southwest Florida, or you are a local like me. Make sure to carve out some time to stop by Love Boat, Ice Cream! Trust me, you won’t regret it.
