Are you heading to Athen’s Greece and are looking for a fun but EASY tour?! Well I found one of the funnest private trikke tours that you and your family need to take advantage of! The Company is called Scooterise and their motto is to Sweat Less and See More. Currently they are just located in Athens but will soon be expanding to some of the other greek islands as well. Check out my entire experience below and how you can book your next private trikke tour!!
When we were planning our trip to Athens we wanted to do a tour that would allow us to see many of the historical sites in a quick amount of time, plus we just weren’t feeling walking because we had heard how many steps and hills are in Athens. At first we were thinking the hop on hop off bus but that just seemed a bit to boring for our adventurous group! Then I came across Scooterise Private Tours. They had so many options for different tours so that we could experience Athens exactly they way we were looking for. This Electric Trikke is super easy to ride and is truely fun for all ages! Because the trikke is electric all you have to learn is where the break is and how to control your speed from fast to slow!
Scooterise offers TEN different tours in Athens. We choose the Athens Complete Tour but some of the others I would have LOVED to try would have been the Athens Rivera Tour and also the Athens Food Tour. Our Athens Complete Tour lasted about two hours and we had the best tour Guide, Nikos. Nikos was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we travelled to on our trikkes. He even took notice how of intrigued we were by these greek pastries and took us to a stand to grab one to try! He was very fun to spend two hours with and just really made our private experience that much more enjoyable. Below is the full list of all the sites we saw during our tour.
National Gardens, Presidential Mansion, Old town neighborhood of Plaka, Monastiraki square ,Monastiraki Flea Market ,Roman Agora, Tower of Winds, Choragic Monument of Lysikrates, Change of the guards, Tomb of Uknown Soldier, Greek Parliament (Vouli), Syntagma Square, Hadrian’s Library
As we continued through our tour and talked to Nikos he also explained to me that Scooterise even does corporate team building tours with companies from all of the world that travel to Athens! I thought this was so interesting, and what a fun team building activity! Nikos said they have even done a tour of over 120 people! So if your company is planning a trip or conference over to the Greece Mainland, what a fun and easy way to quickly see Athens!
