Fall Transition Pieces
As it is the first day of FALL and all, I figured what a great time to do a post on those easy fall transitional pieces that you should have in your closet. As a Florida Native it is extremely difficult to get excited by fall. We are sweating a 90 degree heat while everyone else around the world gets to get all cozy in fall knits, boots, and more. So although the florida heat is hot, I still try to maneuver my style into more fall inspired looks.
It is important when transitioning from one season to the next that you have the perfect turn key pieces to make the transition seamless. You can easily take some of your favorite summer looks and add in one simple fall piece to make your look effortlessly chic.
Lets Break it down: What are some new fall transitional trends to try?
The Cold Shoulder- this is a sweater that has shoulder cut outs. These are super in this year and to be honest they keep you super comfy while still looking stylish. Pair with leggings for a more athlesiure look, or pair with a pencil skirt and rock it to work!
The Business Blazer- this can be a sleeveless blazer, a duster blazer, a typical blazer, or maybe even try out a velvet one? Pair with jeans, or shorts and it adds a little glam to your more casual attire.
The Choker- My favorite third grade obsession is back and I couldn’t be more excited. There are SO many different kinds it can be hard to choose. Feeling moody go with black lace or velvet. Feeling glam try a jeweled one. These aren’t completely new, but the trend wants to come with us into fall so lets bring it on.
OTK Boots- they’re baaaaacck! thank god! I have seriously been missing these babies since last fall. since its not totally cooler weather yet, stick to wearing them at night. Pair with a skirt or dress so that you don’t look to much out of place! But theres no harm in being the trendsetter in the group!
Metallic Mini’s- I know this sounds super scary. When I first saw a youtube video on it I was not entirely sold. But I promise they look super chic. You could even pair the past four items with this metallic mini and you would be well on your way to a super glam look.
These five fall transitional pieces are items I will be rocking until the temps begin to lower here in Florida. Luckily I am heading to Chicago this weekend where the temps are definitely lower than FL but still no where as cold as they good be.
