48 Hours in London
It now has been about a month since I went over to the UK. I have been getting so many questions about what to do there, the weather, and any tips and tricks. So I figured I would put it all into one post for you, how to spend 48 hours in London! Now by no means am I an expert here, but if it is your first time to London and you want to hit all the major attractions then this will be your one stop shop for London itinerary building.
Big Red Bus Tour– I know this sounds super cliche, but we really missed out by not going on this tour. The other couple we went to London with did this tour and they were able to quickly see every big thing there is to see in London. The tour lasted about 4 hours and they would rate it 5 stars! Below is the route Andrew and I decided to take, which works if you just want a low key day.
- London Eye
- Westminster Abby
- Buckingham Palace
- Hyde Park
- Soho Cafe’s- LOVED the Soho Grind
- Lamb & Flag Pub
- Walk around to other pubs in the area
We decided to wake up early to make sure we saw everything on our list plus made it to our 4 o’clock Tea time at Sketch (read all about Sketch here).
- Tower Bridge/Castle
- Borough Market
- Covent Garden
- Big Ben the river side
- The George
48 hours in London is really tough to do! But if you have limited time this is by far the best way to spend it. We went to London in the very beginning of May and the weather was great during the day, very sunny and warm, and then at night it got pretty chilly, but I just wore a leather jacket and was fine! Would love to hear your suggestions for how you would spend 48 hours in London!
