The Perfect White Summer Dress
Now I may be getting a little ahead of myself talking about summer. But when I saw this dress I thought “wow! What a perfect white summer dress.” During the warmer months I am all about the white. The shade gives off a relaxing vibe, and it always makes you look that much tanner than you are.Typically I try to go for whites that are part of the blue family. Depending on your skin tone and hair color the different hued whites can look better on some people than others. For lighter skin and lighter hair the blue hued whites seem to work best opposed to the yellow hued whites.
However I will be sharing a gorgeous yellow hued white next week on the blog that I think you all are going to totally love!! Its beaded & dreamy… i’m obsessed.
This relaxing white shift dress is perfect to throw on over a swimsuit if you’re headed to the pool. You also could dress it up with some fun wedges a wide rimmed hat and take this dress out for a spin for lunch or sunset dinner.
I ended up just wearing this white shift dress over a one piece suit I have been dying to break out, I paired it with my favorite pair of espadrilles… (which I also wore in this post here). Of course I rocked the blue ray-bans, these just never seem to get old to me, they always add so much to any outfit.
I am obsessed with the blue embroidery, it makes me instantly think of Santorini Greece with all the white architecture and bright blue ocean. It really makes the dress pop while still keeping it simplistic enough that you could dress it up or down.
We headed to Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club for this shot and a relaxing pool day with friends. They have these amazing white cabanas on their private beach, tons of water activities like paddle boarding, sailing, and kayaking. An infinity salt water pool, comfy lounge chairs & more. It was one of the most relaxing Sundays I have had in awhile. I mean this neighborhood is literally life goals, It has always been gorgeous but this experience really made this community feel like you were living the life of the rich and famous.
I am all about taking advantage of what you have in your backyard. I have lived in this town for 24 years and I still am constantly finding new places to explore everyday. We get so caught up in staying in our routine and little bubble we forget to explore what is right under our noses. So I encourage you to explore the nooks and crannies of your own home town! You may just be surprised with what you find!
