a FAIRly good time

If you haven’t been able to tell by my most recent posts, I have been totally obsessed with chambray lately. For this look I was inspired from a pinterest photo which I’m sure you’ve all seen with a chambray shirt tucked into black high-waisted denim. I’ve linked the photo here for you to check out!

I thought it would be the perfect ensemble to wear to the fair. I threw on a pair of low chunky heels to give the look a little more of a boho vibe.

We ended up getting to the fair at the perfect time, it was dusk and there wasn’t a ton of people there yet, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Let me just say that I can not believe how expensive the fair has become! Is it just me or do they totally overcharge for everything?! Even with all the high price tags you would like I would get turned away from buying cotton candy, and then later going in for some fried oreos. NOPE. I was just like a little kid, wanting to pay for an overpriced ride on the ferris wheel.

A few hours later when I got home I was complaining because I had a belly ache, Anj just thought this was the funniest thing because when I told him I had ate hot dogs, cotton candy, ANNND fried oreos he concluded that I was a 5 year old.

The fair is all fun and games…till you get a belly ache.

This look was perfect for a breezy spring night in Florida. I encourage you to take a look from pinterest and recreate it yourself! Try something new with clothes you already have in your closet! Follow my pinterest board here for some inspiration!
